Pharmaceutical Companies

  • Medicare - Prescription Drug Coverage—Provides information on public and private programs that offer discounted or free medication, as well as Medicare health plans that include prescription coverage.
  • National Conference of State Legislators—Lists state pharmaceutical assistance programs. Information on discount and bulk purchase programs is also included.
  • NeedyMeds.com—Provides information about patient assistance programs and other programs designed to help those who cannot afford their medicines.
  • Partnership for Prescription Assistance—Provides patient assistance program information.
  • Rxassist—Provides a compilation of application criteria and forms for use by health care providers for applying for free pharmaceuticals for qualified uninsured patients.
  • RxHope.com—Provides help to physicians to apply for, obtain and track requests for no cost medications for their patients who are unable to afford them and do not have access to prescription insurance or government-funded programs.
  • Side Effect Registry—Contains a registry of side effects associated with commonly used antidepressants and antipsychotics.
  • The Medicine Program—Operates in cooperation with the physician to assist patients who may qualify to enroll in one or more of the many patient assistance programs now available.
